Our History

Founded in 2002, a year that witnessed several ground-breaking new technologies, Central Test has preserved the spirit of a small company with a human touch. 

The company has always integrated its strategic objectives with a respect of human values, passion for innovation, and a client-centric approach.

Patrick Leguide, founder and CEO, understood early on the challenges that new technologies bring to the professional assessment market.

From the very beginning, Central Test has applied a SaaS (Software as a Service) business model along with an innovative and scientific approach to psychometrics, enabling it to succeed in becoming one of the key players in the psychometric assessment market.

Today, Central Test is one of the few publishers to design and offer a wide range of tailored assessments, along with customised training programmes which are optimisable to its clients' needs.

It currently has 64 employees in its different offices in Paris (Headquarters), London (UK), Bangalore (India), and Antananarivo (Madagascar).

2015

Launch of a new online interface for our clients and partners. Creation of a new product for the general public: Test & Go. Relaunch of the corporate website in June. Contribution of new private investors.

2014

Launch of a revised version of Professional Profile, Central Test’s first assessment tool. Complete stock repurchase by Central Test’s founder. Opening of a new office in London. Central Test now has 64 employees.

2013

Launch of IMMERSION, a new occupational interests inventory assessment inspired by serious games and based on real-life scenarios. Headquarters relocated to the Bastille quarter in the heart of Paris. An increase in growth revenue to €2.4 M.

2010

Launch of the iPhone app Career Test. Increase in capital to €1.5 M. Strong revenue growth in the international market, which represented 30% of the total revenue.

2009

Launch of CTPI-R, a dedicated assessment tool for managers and executives. Launch of consulting services to provide tailored support to clients.

2008

Growth of the team to 32 employees, as new employees join the R&I and Communications teams. Creation of multilingual services. Publication of a new assessment: Emotional Intelligence. Injection of €750 K into Central Test's capital by Naxicap Partners, a subsidiary of Natixis Private Equity.

2006

Launch of an unlimited subscription offer. Turnover increased to €600 K.

2005

Opening of two branches in Madagascar and India. Development and translation of several assessments into English and Spanish. Number of employees grows to 18.

2002

Establishment of Central Test and release of its first personality assessment, Professional Profile. Launch of the online assessment platform. Employee count of four people.
